First time out on the S-Type. It sure feels pretty quick and Gybes like a dream. I really was suprised as I did not expect a board this fast to gybe so smoothly. The usual gusty inland wind provided some mad runs when the big gusts hit yet the board seems really smooth and easy to control and when the nose gets knocked about by some big chop it just settles back into its stride. Although I was not really trying to jump it does launch off chop easily, mainly due to the speed. I did have my doubts about all the hype that Starboard make some good boards and this is one of them for sure.

A good warm up session. Maybe head to Borth tomorrow.
